Analyst-Programmer / webMethods Specialist

The Analyst-Programmer / webMethods Specialist will be responsible for webMethods application support and maintenance. In this role, you will also participate in application integration, testing and post-implementation follow-up. You must be able to participate in a project’s evaluation in terms of technical efforts and scheduling by collaborating to the analysis phase of e-commerce projects.

Responsibilities:
•  Participation to performance analysis of integrations
•  Understanding and exposing customer needs
•  Evaluating change impact and making proper modifications
•  Participate in development projects
•  Support to operation team and participation to problem solving
•  Acting as a technical expert in order for the company to make the best business decisions and make recommendation in order to
   ameliorate our systems and work process
•  Collaborate on new interface development and implementation
•  Collaborate to existing application maintenance and support
•  Participate to technical documentation writing for developed and integrated systems
•  Establish and maintain efficient communications with various key intervenient

Expertise:
•  Bilingual (French-English) would be an asset;
•  Solid webMethods knowledge (or other equivalent package such as Bizalk, Websphere Integration Server, etc.);
•  EDI/e-commerce knowledge
•  Programming expertise with .Net and/or Java would be an asset
•  Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
•  Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and easily;
•  Self confidence and decision making skills, ability to escalate problems to a senior level if required
•  Must have an interest in emerging technologies

Education:
• From 3 to 5 years of experience in application maintenance and support
• IT Diploma from a recognized technical institution or experience in a similar environment

Nice to have:
Microsoft Certifications (MCAD, MCP)
